Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum -Vietnam Hanoi


Constructed in September 1973 and inaugurated in August 1973, this is the largest memorial centre where the Vietnam leader Ho Chi Minh, who was the chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s body remains has been kept. The Mausoleum comes as an inspiration form the Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow, to honour him for his work saving Vietnam during the war. Ho Chi Minh died in September 1969 due to heart failure.

St Joseph’s Cathedral - Vietnam Hanoi


St Joseph’s Cathedral is a 2 tower building officially opened in December 1886 built with stones slabs and standing at 103 ft (31meters tall). Each tower has 5 bells. The architectural design resembles on of NOTRE DAME DE PARIS (A roman catholic church in FRANCE). The resemblance is due to the fact that the church was built by the French during the Vietnam War.
