Constructed
in September 1973 and inaugurated in August 1973, this is the largest memorial
centre where the Vietnam leader Ho Chi
Minh, who was the chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s body remains
has been kept. The Mausoleum comes as an inspiration form the Lenin’s Mausoleum
in Moscow, to honour him for his work saving Vietnam during the war. Ho Chi Minh died in September 1969 due
to heart failure.
