CAN A BLACK AFRICAN TEACH ENGLISH IN ASIA?

07:28
I have, 2 years ago shared a post on how one can get started, read about it here.
As title says, CAN YOU?
The answer is YES! And here is how…..
The series targets mostly BLACK AFRICANS except South Africans ( they have a special treatment amongst all the African countries) – Reasons why I am doing this; there isn’t much information for us, BLACK AFRICANS, out there for teaching English outside our continent. The information that I got in the past was vague and focused more on Western Countries.
If you have done research on the ESL industry you’d by now know that the industry is segregated and it’s bluntly rubbed into Non Native Speaker’s faces and worse African and some Asian countries have their fair share as well.
I am from Botswana, I have managed to understand the system in Thailand and partly in Vietnam and positioned myself well in the ESL industry that is white and western dominated. The core of this post is to give advice and show some fellow Africans that is possible to be in this industry. This is a series of videos that I’d take you through my journey and steps on how you can get on the bandwagon too.

This is how I have positioned myself and still working on it:
